Shree Ananthapadmanabhaswamy Ananthapura Lake Temple is a Hindu temple in the middle of a lake in the village of Ananthapura, around 6 km from the town of Kumbla in Manjeshwaram Taluk of Kasaragod District of Kerala India.
കേരളത്തിലെ കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ മഞ്ചേശ്വരം താലൂക്കിലെ കുംബ്ള പട്ടണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 6 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ അനന്തപുര ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ തടാകത്തിന് നടുവിലുള്ള ഒരു ഹിന്ദു ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ശ്രീ അനന്തപത്മനാഭസ്വാമി അനന്തപുര തടാക ക്ഷേത്രം.
This is the only Hindu lake temple in Kerala, and as per some traditions, is believed to be the original seat (Moolasthanam) of Ananthapadmanabha Swami Temple Thiruvananthapuram.

Babiya, a crocodile who lived in the lake, was also famed for being vegetarian. It died aged 75 on October 9, 2022. It is believed that it ate only temple offerings that were served to her twice a week and never harmed a single human
തടാകത്തിൽ വസിച്ചിരുന്ന മുതലയായ ബബിയ സസ്യാഹാരിയായും പ്രശസ്തമായിരുന്നു. 2022 ഒക്‌ടോബർ 9-ന് അത് 75-ാം വയസ്സിൽ മരിച്ചു. ആഴ്‌ചയിൽ രണ്ടുതവണ അവൾക്കു വിളമ്പിയ ക്ഷേത്ര വഴിപാടുകൾ മാത്രമേ അത് ഭക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നുള്ളൂവെന്നും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെപ്പോലും ഉപദ്രവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്നും വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
