വള്ളുവനാടിനെ വാനോളം ഉയർത്തുന്ന ഉത്സവമാണ് പരിയാനംപറ്റ പൂരം. പതിനാല് തട്ടകങ്ങളിലായി ദേവി അനുഗ്രഹാശിസ്സുകൾ പൊഴിക്കുന്ന ഉത്സവം. പേരുകേട്ട ഗജവീരന്മാരോടപ്പം പാണ്ടിയും പഞ്ചാരിയും പഞ്ചവാദ്യവും പൂതനും തിറയും കുതിരയും കാളയും തേരും.
കുംഭം 1 കൊടിയേറ്റം മുതൽ കുംഭം 7 പൂരം വരെ ദേശപ്പെരുമയുടെ പ്രൗഢി വിളിച്ചോതുന്ന ഉത്സവമാണ് പരിയാനംപറ്റ പൂരം. വടക്ക് ,കിഴക്ക് ,പടിഞ്ഞാറ് മൂന്നു ദേശക്കാരാണ് പൂരം നടത്തിപ്പിന് ചുക്കാൻ പിടിക്കുന്നത് . പതിനായിരക്കണക്കിന് ഭക്തരാണ് ദിവസവും പൂരം കൊടിയേറിയതു മുതൽ അമ്പലത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തുക
